Gloomy day in Santa Barbara. Took a long walk on the beach in the fog after thoroughly exhausting myself by doing the stairs at the end of Mesa Lane. Trying to stay active but with this huge belly it sure makes everything more difficult.

Time hasn't been moving linearly lately. More like soft swirls that bring each day into the next without me really noticing what's going on. We are in our 31 week of pregnancy and I'm starting to finally really settle down into it... so is Thomas. I think he's just as pregnant as I am (has to pee just as often these days).

We just got home from San Francisco and now will remain in town until I give birth. We met up with Emma and Chris + Peter and Bridget and Peter's daughter Sophie for the weekend (along with my parents) for my brother's graduation from Law School... whooo hoo! Now he has to pass the BAR and then he's off to Norway for a year to study climate change law. I have to admit I really sad he won't be around after the baby is born. :( But we're proud of him and hopefully he won't be too enamored of the Europeans and move back to a more accessible location in a timely manner.
