Brody is approaching 5 months and already he is growing up too quickly! Last night he ate his first bite of food (avocado), which he immediately spit out, and today he enjoyed the bath for the first time. He's of course taken baths before, but never with any pleasure...always fussing and kicking...Today he laughed at the bubbles and splashed playfully. He is a bundle of fun and has no end of smiles...especially for he dad.
Thomas and Brody are bonding so preciously. They take morning walks downtown together to the coffee shop every morning and Brody looks forward to them. He wakes up in the best mood, reaching for his dad. I'm so blessed...the envy of my momma's group as stories of Thomas doing all the dishes, laundry and diaper changing leak out.
As Thomas works during the day, Brody and I play. We have lots of fun, but little hands free time, which makes just about everything else a little bit more difficult.
We are looking forward to Christmas with wrapping paper for Brody to play with and lights to marvel at and his Aunt Emma impress with all his cuteness! Happy Holidays.
