April Update
Brody Update:
Brody is moving all about! It's so exciting to see him investigate what he chooses, when he chooses although there is still lots of frustrations and limitations. He's on the verge of crawling and pulls himself around on his belly...it's very funny to watch. He babbles all the time, talking to anything and everything. I love his little noises and explorations in sound.
We started going to swim lessons, which Brody loves. He gets all excited when he sees the pool and is totally in love with the swim instructor who helps him go under water. It's tons of fun to splash around with him in the pool and after he takes a nice long nap.... so I have a little more time to tidy up and what-not.
More generally life is treating us well. Thomas is working in LA two days a week and although he is gone more he is so pleased with the project he's working on it's all worth it. He's starting a project with a friend and working for his regular (paying) job all at the same time, so there is a lot less time for me and the baby. It's so fulfilling for him to have something new and exciting. Brody and I play and go about our daily business of napping, walking and sleeping more and more regularly and find that we don't need Thomas' help so much anymore anyway. Although we do miss him while he's away.
We are looking for a house to buy as well and hopefully something great and well priced will fall into our laps. In the meantime our little house on the Westside is so lovely and perfect we have no urge to move just yet. Everything is blooming and beautiful.
